it's spooky season
and i'm doin' fine.
Halloween. Remember being a kid? We'd put on a tacky number acquired at the local Party City, gather our friends or siblings (and sometimes the obligatory guardian), and make the trek around town to score treats and trick tricks.
And then there was college, where Halloween took on a different meaning altogether.
But now that I'm, and I hate myself for saying this but, adulting.. what does the holiday mean for me?
The answer: not much.
I haven't even watched a scary movie yet this month! That is, unless you count an hour-and-a-half long video essay from the team at Brew, covering the death of Jeffrey Epstein.
Spoiler warning: they drew the conclusion that it probably WAS suic*de, which I was surprised by (coming from someone who hasn't really looked much into the conspiracies, but bought into the popular consensus that the DOJ is hiding things from us - which they in all likelihood still are, just probably not that he was body-swapped and living in Israel). ANYHOO: I watched that doc high as balls, so it definitely felt like I was watching a horror flick.
Let me leave you with this:
If you dressed up as Nathan Fielder, Elizabeth Holmes, or Liberty Biberty this year? Don't bother coming to Thanksgiving.
